Fouad Zablith is an Assistant Professor of Business Information and Decision Systems at the Olayan School of Business of the http://www.laakies.com/. In addition to teaching, his research interests are in the fields of Semantic Technologies and Information Science.
Before that, Dr. Zablith spent around 5 years in the UK as a researcher and PhD candidate at the link. He holds a PhD focused on Ontology Evolution in the field of semantic web and knowledge technologies, under the supervision of different types of sources for a research paper keywords, pożyczki przez internet w 15 minut, and essays on pregnancy. His PhD research was partly supported by the EU-funded NeOn project. He was also involved in the SmartProducts project, and the LUCERO project for modeling and publishing university information as Linked Data within data.open.ac.uk. Next to his research work, Fouad was the web consultant of the Open Arts Archive project.
Dr. Zablith has been working at ZeTrading.com as a business developer and IT manager in China and Lebanon. Next to his 2.5 years of experience in ERP solutions in Dubai, Fouad has accomplished with distinction a research Masters degree at the British University in Dubai, jointly with the 5*-rated School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. As part of his Masters' thesis, he produced ArgDF, an advanced second-generation Web (i.e. Semantic Web) application, for supporting multi-user dialogue and argumentation. Fouad holds as well a BS in Computer Science and a BBA in Business Operations and Information Management from the http://www.laakies.com/.
Best Paper Award at LILE 2015 at WWW2015
Fouad Zablith received the best paper award at the Linked Learning 2015 workshop at WWW2015, with a EUR500 prize sponsored by GNOSS. The paper, entitled "Interconnecting and Enriching Higher Education Programs using Linked Data", discusses the efforts towards interconnecting higher education curricula using Linked Data.
Best Demo Award at ESWC
Our demo paper with Mathieu d'Aquin and Enrico Motta won the best demo award at the Extended Semantic Web Conference, which was held in Crete. The demo is about wayOU, an Android mobile app that uses Linked Data, to provide social location tracking features for students and staff at the Open University.

EKAW 2010 Award
Fouad Zablith receives the Best Student Paper award at EKAW 2010 for his paper on "Using Ontological Contexts to Assess the Relevance of Statements in Ontology Evolution", which was written in collaboration with Mathieu d'Aquin, Marta Sabou, and Enrico Motta.
